The DITP is encouraging Thai IT product manufacturers and IT service providers to seek business opportunities in Cambodia.
“Cambodia’s telecommunication infrastructure has improved, more than 45% of Cambodians have access to mobile phones and the internet while mobile applications are widely used by government and private sectors to offer services to people,” DITP Director-General Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat said on January 8.
This development has increased the demand of IT infrastructure-related products such as cable, control panel boxes, transmitters, electrical and electronic products, as well as IT services, including operation systems, applications and programming.
