The DITP announces its readiness to hold STYLE, a major lifestyle product exhibition, featuring furniture, fashion, gifts and houseware this April.
STYLE Fair is set to usher in a new wave of all-in-one lifestyle products exhibition. Organised by the DITP, STYLE is an amalgamation of three fairs: Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair (BIFF&BIL), Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG+BIH), and Thailand International Furniture Fair (TIFF).
“At STYLE, we hope to see exhibitors build their business network with potential partners,” Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, Director-General of the DITP, says. “The theme for this edition of STYLE is Crenovative Origin, bringing creativity and innovation to original products and services. By promoting the development of new business ideas to align with the Creative Thailand initiative from the Ministry of Commerce, we believe that Thai companies are on the way to gain a more competitive edge on the global market.”
Held from April 19 to 23 at BITEC, Bangna, Bangkok, STYLE will feature special exhibitions on Thai-style healthcare and services involving wellness, Thai Herbal Life+Style Café; DEmark, a showcase of products that have won design awards; as well as exciting seminars, international pavilions and fashion shows.
The DITP will provide services, such as a business matching area for holding business negotiations with potential partners, and a logistics services area with officers to provide consultations, to assist buyers and visitors at the event.
Overseas buyers participating in the trade fair will come from countries and regions, such as Japan, the US, Taiwan, China, Germany, Australia, India and Hong Kong.
“The fair is a great opportunity to enjoy a wide selection of the finest quality lifestyle products, while the DITP will bring in top exhibitors from niche market products, including elderly care products, baby and kids products, and pet products,” the Director-General says. “The DITP anticipates that more than 60,000 visitors will come to STYLE which will feature over 2,100 booths from approximately 1,000 companies.”
STYLE will be held at BITEC, Bangna, Bangkok from April 19 to 23, with April 19 to 21 open for trade visitors from 10.00 to 18.00, and April 22 – 23 open to the public from 10.00 to 21.00.
