The DITP brought 22 Thai companies from the printing and packaging industry to Myanmar between July 24 and 26, to seek out business partners in the neighbouring country.
During the trip, Thai entrepreneurs visited a printing house, and attended a business matching activity with 151 entrepreneurs from the paper and pulp industry, print businesses and printing houses, as well as surveyed the relevant market in the country.
Meanwhile, Myanmar companies placed orders worth US$1.3 million for Thai printing products and sought advice from Thai entrepreneurs, as Thailand’s printing industry is widely recognised within ASEAN for its advanced technology.
