The DITP hosted an entrepreneur orientation session in Bangkok on April 24 for its trade mission trip to Peru, Ecuador and Chile, which will take place from June 14 to 28.
Thirty companies from five sectors – auto parts, construction materials, electronics and electrical appliances, machinery, and food – participated in the session, where they garnered useful information on the market.
The department expects the trip to generate more than US$4.74 million (150 million baht) of orders as well as helping Thai businesses to find distributors, meet with target customers and procure raw materials from across the Latin American region.
