The DITP is recruiting young jewelry entrepreneurs to join The New Faces for the 64th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair in September.
In late June, the department conducted a road show to the north, where over 40 jewelry entrepreneurs from Nan, Phrae and Phayao provinces showed interest in participating in the 64th edition of the leading trade show. Thai silver is known worldwide and silver is one of the north’s famous traditional crafts.
“We expect to have at least 150 young jewelry entrepreneurs from across the country join The New Faces,” DITP Director-General, Banjongjitt Angsusingh, said on July 5.
The 64th Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair will take place from September 10 to 14 at Challenger Hall, IMPACT, Bangkok. For more information about the fair, visit: www.bkkgems.com.
