Hom Mali 105 rice, which is grown in the Northeast of Thailand was awarded the world’s best rice this year. It is the seventh time that Thai rice has won the award. This year, eleven types of rice from six countries — Thailand, the US, China, India, Vietnam and Myanmar — were nominated.
