A Thai company is introducing innovative gluten-free rice cakes made from natural ingredients aimed at customers looking for low-calorie, low-sugar and nutritious snacks with no added preservatives or chemicals.
Consumers around the world are becoming increasingly health-conscious and more aware of what they put on their plates. All Rite, a Thai company whose rice cakes have been selected as a National Innovative Product by Thailand’s National Innovation Agency, reveals that the inspiration for making rice cakes came from a desire to make gluten-free snacks for the family.
“In the beginning, I was interested in creating gluten-free snacks for members of my family as they were allergic to gluten,” said Panit Techapongtada, CEO and Founder of All Rite. “Moreover, I was looking to find healthier alternatives for the elderly who have high blood pressure and diabetes.”
Techapongtada found it difficult to get gluten-free snacks in Thailand, so his family started to make rice cakes for themselves. Soon afterwards, friends and relatives who are vegetarians or have high cholesterol and high blood sugar levels, asked to buy these snacks.
“We selected the best organic ingredients from certified producers and baked the rice cakes using pure 100% wholegrains,” Techapongtada says. “For example, with our Black Grains Rice Cakes, we use rice berry, flaxseeds and black sesame, which give the snack a delicious aroma that tastes better than other similar products, but without any preservative or seasoning.”
Apart from being sold at leading supermarkets, health food shops and pharmacies in Thailand, All Rite is now exported to overseas markets, such as Australia, India, Taiwan and Hong Kong, while the brand’s production facilities are all certified to international standards such as GMP, HACCP, and certified organic by the FDA and EU, Techapongtada adds.
As a unique and innovative product, All Rite Black Grains was also selected as one of the Top 50 ThaiFEX Innovation products in 2017.
Most importantly, Techapongtada says that All Rite focuses on offering healthier and safer alternatives to people with dietary needs and allergies, so they can enjoy organic snacks.
“Our vision is creating a better quality of life for our society and becoming the first brand to come to mind for consumers who are looking for 100% clean, healthy and organic products,” he says.
