The DITP’s overseas office in Seoul has kicked off the Thai Festival campaign to promote Thai products through five leading e-commerce platforms in South Korea, according to a news release dated July 22, 2020.

Under this campaign, Korean bloggers have introduced Thai goods on five online platforms: Coupang, Naver, Wemakeprice, Interpark and 11st, which are popular among Korean consumers.

We expect this campaign will help increase awareness of Thai products as well as creating market demand, which will benefit Thai exports to South Korea,” DITP Director-General, Somdej Susomboon, said.

Currently, the most popular Thai products in South Korea are Thai sweet chilli sauce, beverages, fruit juices, dried mango, dried fruit, and roasted seaweed snacks.
