The DITP, the Embassy of Poland in Bangkok, the Embassy of Hungary in Thailand and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand, co-hosted the Polish-Hungarian Business Forum on March 25 at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok to provide information to entrepreneurs looking to expand into Europe, particularly Poland and Hungary.
The department also organised a trade mission to Hungary and Poland from March 9 to 16 in order to explore trade and investment opportunities in those countries.
In 2018, trade between Thailand and Poland was valued at US$855.22 million, with the key export products being computer and parts, rubber products, and air conditioner and parts. Meanwhile, the trade value between Thailand and Hungary was US$635.68 million. Thailand exported key products, such as computers and parts, automobiles and parts, and transformers, to Hungary.
