The DITP joined with international e-commerce platform providers to host the Cross-Border e-Commerce Solutions and Business Matching in Phuket on April 26. This enhanced the competitiveness of Thai SMEs and encouraged them to export their products through online channels.
“After this activity received an overwhelming response from Thai entrepreneurs in Bangkok, the department plans to repeat it upcountry to support local businesses there,” DITP Director-General, Banjongjitt Angsusingh, said on April 25. “Participants will have an opportunity to meet global e-commerce platform providers, such as Amazon, Tmall Global, ShopJJ and 11Street, and learn about distributing their products through these platforms and how to select the best platform for themselves.”
