DITP Empowers Thai Entrepreneurs to Steal the Spotlight at Middle East Design & Hospitality Week
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) organised a delegation of 15 Thai entrepreneurs to showcase their products and explore growth prospects in the Middle East. At the Middle East Design & Hospitality Week 2023, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Center, United Arab Emirates, from May 23 to 25, 2023, with an impressive attendance of 40,000 visitors worldwide, the entrepreneurs found prime opportunities to expand their presence in the thriving market.
Curated by the DITP, the delegation for the Middle East comprised esteemed companies, such as Kunakij Furniture Industry, Deesawat Industries, Thais Ecoleathers, Corner 43 Décor, and Prempracha’s Collection. This carefully chosen group exemplified the exceptional craftsmanship and diverse range of Thai products. With their innovative designs and meticulous attention to detail, they aimed to showcase the quality and aesthetic appeal of Thai offerings to the Middle East market.
Beyond enhancing product visibility, this engagement paved the way for lucrative trade negotiations with potential buyers throughout the event. Thai entrepreneurs gained invaluable exposure to a diverse global audience, amplifying their market reach. This initiative seamlessly aligned with the overarching “Lifestyle by STYLE Bangkok” project, dedicated to fuelling the growth of Thailand’s lifestyle product market in the Next Normal era, establishing the country as a key player in global design and hospitality sectors.
