DITP and PMUC Promote Research on BCG Trend
The DITP in collaboration with the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC) organised the Smart Value Creation 2023 Project to support Thai research on BCG innovation to serve the demands of international markets.
Held under the concept ‘Using natural bio-based materials: Empowering Potential with BCG Innovation’, the project created networks and business matching between researchers, investors and developers. The aim was to upgrade the quality and standard of Thai products through innovation to serve international markets.
The Smart Value Creation project has been held for three years. Activities include seminars by gurus, as well as industrial and academic experts from PMUC and Kasetsart University to share their knowledge on BCG innovation. There were also business matching activities and consultations for six groups of enterprises covering topics such as packaging, printing and printing products, textile and garments, furniture and home decorative items, rubber and rubber products, and eco-friendly products. The DITP also supports entrepreneurs under the BCG Economy Model and to become BCG Heroes.
